Thirteenth Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Robin Carroll announced Tuesday that he has fulfilled one of his campaign promises by establishing an interactive website for the 13th Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office. The website is located at www.arkprosecutor13.com.
According to Carroll, the site is designed to dramatically increase the accessibility of his office for citizens.
“My job as prosecutor is not just to prosecute criminal cases, but to make sure that our citizens have the information they need to protect their families and for all of us to improve our community,” said Carroll.
“This website will be a great tool for getting important information out to the public about everything from sexual predators to scam artists who target our seniors to fighting the war on drugs.”
The website is truly “interactive,” noted Carroll, who said one of the best things about the website it that it “allows information to go both ways. Citizens will be able to report crime or areas of concern over the web site – anonymously if they chose.”
Carroll pointed out that one of the main purposes of the website is to improve “quality of life” issues within the community.

Visitors to the website will be able to track sex offenders to enable parents to more effectively protect their children. There are also tips on how to spot a meth lab, and ways to help keep kids safe on the Internet from harmful material and Internet stalkers.
The website also contains a link that will allow the ability to accept hot check restitution payments online.
“We will be able to get merchants their money faster, and hopefully in larger amounts. This will also give those people with hot checks another option in making restitution,” said Carroll, who promised to continue to build and improve the web site.
“This is only the beginning. We’re going to continue to update the web site to add helpful content and even more interactive features,” he said.
Carroll said his deputies and staff have been hard at work updating the prosecutor’s office systems and policies.
“This website is one part of the multi-faceted plan we are carrying out to improve the office,” he said. “We will continue to strive for excellence everyday, and we will do everything we can to make the 13th District a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
The 13th District covers Union, Calhoun, Ouachita, Columbia, Dallas and Cleveland counties.
