Jeffrey Rogers - Prosecuting Attorney
Jeffrey C. Rogers was born and raised in El Dorado, Arkansas, attending El Dorado Public Schools. He earned a BBA from Southern Arkansas University in May of 1980 and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in May of 1983. He was admitted to the bar in September of 1983.
After law school, Mr. Rogers served as a law clerk for the Arkansas Supreme Court and for United States District Judge Oren Harris, where he attained senior clerk status. After a stint in private practice, he has served continuously for twenty-two years as a deputy prosecuting attorney with ten of those being the chief deputy. He has served as the elected prosecuting attorney for the 13th Judicial District of Arkansas since January 1, 2019 and was elected in 2022 to another four year term.
